Surf Safely

Dear Reader

I am sending you this email because just like Paige and I, you, your spouse and your kids surf the net, hang out at MySpace, MyChurch, and YouTube, and because I know you love your family and would never want to do anything to expose them to undo danger.

Since you are like me, I know it would rock your world to the end of the earth if your family’s safety and privacy was ever violated, and later your found out YOU could have protected them.

As a father of six kids ranging from 24 to 4, I know first hand the crazy un-resourceful and sometimes stupid things kids can do.  I also know first hand some of the stupid things we dads and husbands can do without thinking.

So ask yourself the following question… “What would I do if one day you or someone in your family was accused of a sex crime, fraud, or violating homeland security?”

How would your life change?

The video link I have attached shows what one family went through when their 14 year old son was accused and arrested of downloading and uploading child pornography.

I am on a crusade to educate all my friends and family about the risk of being connected to the internet with the wrong type of security and protection.

Please do not just trash this email because you think “this is Troy’s way of trying to get me to do business with his company”)

Personally I don’t care if you do business with me or not.  What I do care about is that you test your computer and do whatever it takes to protect your family, your privacy and most of all your family’s reputation.

As we have seen in recent years the media can crucify a person before they ever get the chance to prove their case.

Please take time to watch the video below; it is about 10 or 15 minutes long.  It is well worth the investment of your time.
