A Goldendoodle or Groodle is a mixed breed dog, crossbred between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. This hybrid is often said to have begun in Australia, along with the Labradoodle; U.S. fanciers challenge this assertion. Poodle hybrids have become increasingly popular and it is likely that the combination of Golden Retriever and Poodle has been duplicated by breeders in various countries.

and many other Poodle cross breeds, was bred to be a very low shedding assistance dog for individuals who need such a dog, but who suffer from allergies to shedding hair or have other problems with excessive shedding. However, not all Goldendoodles will exhibit the “hypoallergenic” coat style of the poodle; as a mixed breed dog, the traits of puppies cannot be accurately predicted. While some Goldendoodles are low-shedding, many others shed a small amount and still others shed as much as a Golden Retriever. While some breeders claim that the Goldendoodle is a hypoallergenic canine, allergists believe that there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic animal. There have been no studies to date verifying whether any canine is completely hypoallergenic.
There are currently no size classifications for the Goldendoodle. It is difficult for a hybrid litter to “breed true”; that is, it is difficult to know exactly what size a Goldendoodle will grow to as an adult, regardless of parental size. However, Goldendoodle sizes can vary if they are standard or mini. A standard Goldendoodle is the result of crossbreeding with a standard-sized Poodle.
A standard male Goldendoodle can range in height from 21 to 24 inches (54 to 62 cm), and weigh 55 to 85 pounds (25 to 39 kg). A standard female Goldendoodle can range in height from 20 to 22.5 inches (51 to 58 cm), and weigh 45 to 65 pounds (21 to 29 kg). Goldendoodles can also result from a female golden retriever and a male miniature or toy poodle (both via artificial insemination). Such Goldendoodles can range in height from 13 to 21 inches (33 to 53 cm), and weigh 25 to 45 pounds (11 to 20.5 kg). Goldendoodles also have different coat types. They can range from curly, wavy, or straight depending on its genes. Goldendoodles can have different colors, depending on the poodle genes passed onto the pup. However, Goldendoodles can be white, blonde, tan, cafe, chocolate, red, black, silver, parti, phantom, or a mix. A mix of colors can come from the same litter.
Temperament
The Goldendoodle is a loving, loyal dog and has a keen sense of smell. They can be taught to enjoy swimming, as both the retriever and Poodle elements of their heritage normally enjoy water. Goldendoodles are intelligent, friendly, and great with kids, just like their Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle parents. They are easily trained, highly social, and by nature are easy with strangers and other dogs. They love to play, and commonly retain the strong retrieving instincts of the Golden Retriever. The Goldendoodle should not be trained as a watchdog as it is highly unlikley that he will respond to this type of aggression.

APEC Australia 2007™ year.

The BBC reported that :
A concrete and steel fence is being built across the centre of Sydney amid a massive security effort for a summit of Asia-Pacific leaders next week.
The 5km (three-mile) barrier is intended to protect the 21 leaders attending the meeting from thousands of protesters expected at the summit.
In this map of the fencing that will be active on the APEC long weekend, the large red lines represent fencing. No cars will be able to get access to these streets.

The Sydney Opera House and hotels that will house more than 5,000 delegates will be hidden behind the barrier for the Sept. 2-9 meetings.

A 45-nautical-mile restricted air space will be enforced by fighter aircraft and police helicopters. A navy mine sweeper will patrol Sydney Harbor, along with navy divers, water police and special forces.
The city’s underground railway network will be closed during the APEC weekend and motorists have been warned to stay out of the city as many roads will be closed.

Australian students are organizing a protest against George W. Bush’s presence in Australia and his policies :
To further add to the chaos George W. Bush is arriving two days earlier so he can keep important commitments back in the U.S.A regarding Iraq.

Considering just the Australian students’ WAG Protest regarding George W. Bush’s presence in Australia and policies it would be easy to blame all these draconian security measures entirely on George W. Bush.
However there has been protests in prior APEC summits even before George W. Bush was elected ? for his first term.

Montebello Bush League Quebec Police posed as summit protesters and tried to Incite Violence
Tuesday, August 28th, 2007In a stunningly alarming news report the CBC stated :
About 1,200 protesters were in the small resort town near Ottawa as Prime Minister Stephen Harper met with U.S. President George W. Bush and Mexican President Felipe Calderon at a two-day summit to discuss issues under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America pact.
The CBC further reported that :
Organizers of the protests at the North American leaders’ summit in Montebello, Que., say they have video that shows police disguised as masked demonstrators tried to incite violence on Monday.

The YouTube video shows Dave Coles, president of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union, ordering three masked men back from a line of riot police.

Quebec provincial police admitted Thursday that three of their officers disguised themselves as demonstrators during the protest at the North American leaders summit in Montebello, Que.
However, the police force denied allegations its undercover officers were there on Monday to provoke the crowd and instigate violence.

I ended up on the No Good TV Site and I must say .. I was easily amused for about 1-1/2 hours .. just staring at my computer screen!
Yes … I could have been working, but what better way is there to waste time away on a Saturday night?
Okay.. probably lots of better ways. HOWEVER .. take a glass a wine close by .. a comfy chair .. a clean monitor screen … WELL - You can click your mouse and find stuff, but you don’t have to~ … everything just starts right after each other if you are lazy .. it’s like putting the remote on the far coffee table, and you are too tired to get off your fanny to change the channel.
